so die never ending Story geht weiter, gerade vom Arbeitskollegen bekommen :
from BMW Motorrad:
- Certain Model Year 2019-2021 BMW R1250 GS / GS Adventure / RT, and Model Year 2020-2021 S1000 RR / XR models in the US are potentially affected.
- The VIN range has been expanded to vehicles produced from 8/27/2018 to current production.
- A new remedy is under investigation and will be communicated once available.
Dealer's should hopefully have more info next week about remedy and timeline.
There are vehicles in showrooms that have already had calipers replaced, that are now under the "stop sale" again - because BMW deemed replacing the Hayes caliper with a newer, but same, caliper was insufficient.
It is a "stop sale" for bikes at dealers, but not a "stop ride" for customers with bikes. If a customer's bike has an active leak the caliper can be replaced under warranty, but will still need the recall remedy once BMW determines what that is.
