Hat jemand Erfahrung mit diesem Intercom? Kostet nur die Hälfte einer vergleichbaren Baehr-Anlage.

Hallo Placebo,
lass es mich mal so sagen:
Mercedes und Lada sind beides Automobile
Der eine kostet etwas mehr, bietet dafür aber auch mehr!
Genauso vehält es sich bei Gegensprechanlagen.
Die Starcom kann eben nicht das leisten was eine Baehr kann!
Objektiv kannst Du nur selber sein indem Du beide Anlagen Probefährst!

Eine Active von Baehr kann deutlich mehr und Du hättest mal eben minimum 40-50 Baehr Händler in der BRD!

Starcom

StarCom. State-of-the-art communication system that combines all the features required for Rider to Rider, Rider to Pillion and Sole Rider use, all in one unit. ​

Intercom: With two headsets you can talk freely to your passenger, you can both talk at the same time (full duplex) and both listen to high quality stereo music if fitted. ​

Stereo Music: StarComprovides high quality stereo music from a variety of music sources from portables to fitted car radio. Built in isolation and music reduction is included (user selectable). ​

Mobile Phone: A mobile phone can be connected and normal phone conversations can be held even at high speed; your caller probably won't be aware you’re on a bike. (Phone adapter required, your phone must have auto answer).​

Rider to Rider: By adding one of our range of mobile radios you can talk Rider to Rider, Bike to Bike up to 2 miles apart. ​

Sat Nav and Radar: Further equipment with audio out can be added Satellite navigation systems can be connected to the phone input. (If the phone is required at the same time then a two input splitter is required.) ​

Battery Power: To power the system directly from the bike, the kit includes the bike power DC lead and fitting kit.​

Hi-Tech features​

Auto volume level: Automatically adjusts the volume to compensate for background/wind noise.​

VOX: Voice operated transmit for mobile radio use, just talk to transmit. VOX mutes the music, simply speak to silence the music for 5 seconds.​

Noise reduction: Noise in bike communication can be a big problem especially at speed. Our kits incorporate noise reducing microphones and two stages of active noise filtering using the latest technology.​

Intelligent source selection: Gives priority to the phone and radio. If the phone rings or a radio message is received the music will be muted.​

Helmet Plug Power On/Off: Plug in Headset1 to turn ON and unplug to turn OFF. The unit can be installed out of sight eg. under the seat. Just plug in the helmet and ride. ​

Stereo Helmet kit The Tecstar crash helmet head sets are designed and built in the UK to a very high specification, these are not available from any other source. Each kits consists of two low profile speakers providing quality sound to both ears, giving a high level of sound quality that is easy to listen to and a anti-vibration noise cancelling microphone. ​

Volume ​

The unit provides up to 2 Watts of music/sound power (with a fully adjustable volume control) into each helmet. The power ensures that even through ear plugs the system can be heard clearly at speed.​

Balance rider to pillion​

From 2004 onwards StarCom1 now has a balance control, designed to allow one user to use ear plug and have a higher volume, while the other user not using plugs will have a lower volume.

der Beitrag ist ja jetzt schon eine ganze Weile her!! Hast du jetzt eine solche Anlage und wenn ja, kannst du mir deine Erfahrungen mitteilen?!

Hi,

ich wurde zwar nicht direkt gefragt, aber ich schwätz nun mal gerne auch ungefragt :-)

An meiner GSA habe ich die starcom1 Advance nun seit gut 3 Jahren. Ich persönlich finde sie BESSER als die Baehr. Insofern ist der obige Vergleich zwischen Lada und Mercedes Blödsinn.

Hatte an meiner vorherigen RT die Baehr Ultima XL. Sehr gut, sehr schön, sehr teuer. Habe mich damals nach GSA-Kauf dann für die Starcom1 entschieden und bis heute nicht bereut.

Klangqualität, Anschlussmöglichkeiten, Vox-Steuerung etc. im Prinzip gleich wie Baehr

Vorteile der Starcom1:
- wesentlich günstiger
- wesentlich kleiner
- es gibt einen externen Lautstärkeregler !!! (den gibts bei Baehr nicht für Geld und gute Worte -hatte extra angefragt)
- die etwas filigraner aussehenden Kabel und Stecker halten offenbar genauso lange wie die der Baehr

Nachteile der Starcom1:

- nicht wasserdicht (kleines zusätzliches Kusto-Gehäuse drüber - ferrdisch)
- Headset-Einbau muss man selbst erledigen (je nach Helm "gar kein Problem" bis zu "totaler Horror"; Baehr macht das zu heftigen Preisen auch in Fremdhelme)

Tja, so seh ich das.
