After Ashvamedh left Arambol i separetad from the guys to take the coast road back to Mumbai. I prefer the smaller roads. Specially this road, because the whole day you are nearly alone. No trucks, no cars and very few bikes. But if you need company of these awful and stinky trucks these roads are not made for you. So i reached Ratnagiri after 4 Hours of riding and made exactily 210 km from Arambol to Ratnagiri. On the National Highway the distance is a lot more. hahaha.
Great ride i had.
Next day i went east from Ratnagiri to find this snakeplace in the mountains. I didnt find the snakes, but a lot of absolutly amazing roads through the jungle uphill and downhill. Fantastic ride. After some hours playing it was time for some fuel. In a small village i found some kind of private petrol pump. Handjobpump for 80 rps per litre. Not really cheap, but better then pushing the bike. In the afternoon i tried to go to Guhagar but was unable to find the right junglejunction. So suddenly i was standing in front of the ferryboat to Ganpatipule. Something went wrong i noticed. But anyway, i made the way to Gppule and took a room to spend the night there. I went to the beach to go for swimming but i refused. I cant believe that this has been one of the nicest beaches in india. Full of dirt. Totally messed up. Why do you do that to your country ? But nobody cares. The families are playing in between all this shit. So have a nice holiday.
I turned around and went back to my Hotel. Change plans an leave tomorrow early morning.
Leaving in early is something i really love. Not only in india. The air is fresh and clean, the light of the morning sun is warm and beautiful and the streets are empty. And again, like yesterday , i managed to find a new build road on the way back to the ferryboat. But then, in the middle of a small village my GPS was cheating me. The way my small electronic pathfinder showed me was getting worser and worser. I ended up in a huge field of rocks and stones. I managed to to some more kilometer. But instead getting back on a proper road my fight ended up on some kind of a canyon. The Bullet is to heavy even for a short distance flight, so i had to turn around making all the way back. About two hours or something i spent in this desert. But that was no waste of time. I really liked this small adventure.
And now i know, the Bullet is able to manage some real heavy surface without giving up. . . if the driver is forcing her to do it.
Now instead of riding back to Mumbai on the coastlineroad ,i had to find a faster way for returning. It was because of my dentist told me i have to be back next day. So my nice plan was destroyed. I hate travelling on big roads, just to cover distance in a short time.
But i found a nice idea in between. I took the awsome road via Mahableshwar and connect to the Mumbai-Pune 4 lane Highway in the darkness to hide myself away from the cops. Everytime they detected me i was turning that black rubber roll on noise mode and disappeared in the darkness. It was so funny. Back in Mumbai at Gauresh house i got myself a quick cold beer (luckily one was left in the fridge ) and felt asleep at once.
